In a matter of 3 years I have had eight TG 6's fail. We go on snorkeling trips 3 times a year. On the first day of a trip, one will suffer minor water inundation and stop working within two minutes of entering the water. Sand also penetrates the water proofing and stops the locking mechanism's from closing securely.
Look for something more reliable!

When I bought my TG-6 I was astonished to discover that, despite paying the best part of £500 , Olympus then wanted ANOTHER £35 if you'd like a lens cap! Interestingly one of those ubiqitous online shopping portals can suplly something cheaper.

I have a Fugifilm finepix HS30 EXR camera and when I turn it on focus error appears across the screen, how do I get rid of this?

Quote:Relatively high price
Relatively large lenses
RAW not available in some modes
4-way controller could be better implemented
Shorter battery life (due to reduced size battery)
Lacks panoramic mode
Wi-Fi would have been nice

1) Not a problem - just bought second hand.
2) Not a problem - using existing lenses.
3) Not wanted.
4) Not wanted - the less buttons on the back the better.
5) Not a problem - for me.
6) not wanted.
7) Not wanted.

Nice set of pictures, but how about some taken with the kit less?

Having recently swapped to this camera from years using Canon DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras, I would agree with the comment regarding the menus. To be fair though, this to a great extent true of the menus for the new breed of complex high featured cameras from all manufacturers. The comment on the lack of a printed manual applies to other manufacturers as well, that's why there are so many 'How to use' books available for new cameras.

I think Pentax and Ricoh have not intergrated their camera departments very well.

I recall back in the year 2005 (If I am not mistaken) Ricoh offering Caplio R5 a pocket point and shoot camera with 3:2 and 1:1 aspect ratios. I think that was the first digital camera which offered square format, straight from the box, which is a plus as it helps the photographers framing the subjects exactly as they mean saving time on image editing.

Can't Pentax have this feature too almost twenty years later on their models?

No flip screen for inconspicuous street photography shots? No problem!

Leica has a 45 degrees eyepiece to allow shooting while looking down to the body without the need to bring it to eye level. It fits the M10 so I suspect it fits the M11 too.

But it would be cool to have a double eyepiece with the second on the top plate like the Kodak Brownie had.
